On the morning of September 6, 2019, Dr. Sam Heikinen, Dean of Global Affairs Management Center ofSlippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, USA, and others came to our university for an exchange visit. Professor Li Zhongxian, President of our school, met with the delegation. President Sam Heikinen conveyed his greetings to President Li and invited him to pay an official and friendly visit to the University. President Li also expressed to the delegation his wish for substantive cooperation between the two universities as soon as possible.

During the visit, the delegation also held talks with the relevant leaders of the International Exchange Office, Civil Engineering College, School of Economics and Management, Environmental and Municipal Engineering College and Urban Art College of our university. The two sides discussed cooperative school-running projects in information management and information system, visual communication design and environmental engineering, and discussed and agreed on teacher visits and student long-term and short-term exchange projects.

Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania，isa public university located in Talc Town, Pennsylvania. It has four colleges, including Business School, School of Health, Environment and Science, College of Education and College of Literature. It offers undergraduate, master's and doctoral education. At present, there are more than 9,000 students, including more than 100 international students. This is the second time that the school delegation visited our school. In December 2018, Dean Sam Heikinen visited our school and the two schools signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.
