Recently, a delegation from Singapore Polytechnic led by Liu Kao Xue visited Tianjin Chengjian University (TCU). Yang Jing, Vice President of TCU, warmly welcomed the guests. Director of International Cooperation Office and Dean of School of Civil Engineering attended the meeting.

Yang Jing extended a warm welcome to the delegation, and briefly introduced the development and features of TCU with a focus on the university's international exchange and cooperation. Liu Kao Xue provided an overview of Singapore Polytechnic, including its basic information and academic programs. Later on, the two parties discussed the possibility of short-term student exchange programs in the fields such as civil engineering and architecture and explored the cooperation models of scientific research and cooperation in details. After the meeting, the delegation visited the School of Civil Engineering of TCU to learn more about the school’s teaching and research facilities and achievements.

This visit has laid a solid foundation for deepening mutual understanding and consensus, and expanding cooperation and exchanges between the two institutions. In the future, TCU will take the visit as an opportunity to further enhance cooperation with relevant universities in Singapore, integrate quality resources, broaden minds for innovative ideas, and establish a multi-channel communication and cooperation network, contributing to the high-quality development of TCU's international exchange efforts.

Founded in 1954, Singapore Polytechnic is one of the five government polytechnics in Singapore. It is dedicated to cultivating engineering and technical talents.
