Zheng Yufan, the undergraduate representative of ISE, a student from the 2021 Landscape Architecture program, fondly reviewed his four years of growth: from the nervousness and curiosity upon first entering TCU to the confidence of being admitted to Tianjin University for graduate studies. TCUs academic atmosphere, diverse courses, and study experience at CUT in Poland broadened his horizons and consolidated his knowledge. The learned and rigorous professors led him in professional explorations; the caring counselors offered warm support like family; and the classmates, who stood by him during late-night study sessions in the dorm,  encouraged him during exam seasons, and shared anxiety during graduate school preparations, became the most precious treasure of his youth. He urged his peers to remember the school motto, “Morality and Capability, Learning and Creating” and to pursue excellence in their respective fields with courage and passion, letting the voice of youth echo around the world. Finally, he wished continued success for his alma mater, good health and well-being for the teachers, and a prosperous and bright future for his fellow classmates, remaining true to their ideals.

Wang Xinyi, the graduate representative of ISE, a student from the 2022 Civil and Hydraulic Engineering program, looked back on his challenging and growth-filled graduate life. Under the guidance of his advisor, he published papers in the SCI journal Cold Regions Science and Technology and the EI journal Engineering Science and Technology. He also obtained a national invention patent and the Graduate National Scholarship, and participated in and led several research projects and competitions. His study experience at BUT in Poland deepened his understanding that “The world is the textbook”. The combination of coursework and practical experience deepened his professional knowledge and forged his independent and inclusive personalities. He sincerely wished continued prosperity for his alma mater, enduring influence for the teachers, and bright future for his classmates.

Professor Beata Backiel-Brzozowska, a faculty representative from BUT, congratulated the 2025 graduates on achieving their academic goals. She praised their extraordinary courage in facing the challenges of cross-national education, improving their English proficiency, adapting to the cultural differences between China and Poland, and striving for higher goals in a completely different environment. She mentioned the dual-degree certificates not only represented high-level professional knowledge but also demonstrated excellent cross-cultural communication abilities. She wished that this diploma, embodying uniqueness and international perspective, would help the graduates achieve greater success in their future careers.

Professor Liu Jianming, a faculty representative from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at ISE, congratulated the 2025 graduates on completing their studies and witnessed their transformation from inexperienced students into confident young individuals. Reflecting on the four years, he recalled the focus in the laboratory, the persistence in the library, the passion on the competition field, the anxiety of paper-writing, and the debates during discussions, all of which had become precious marks of youth. The Sino-foreign collaborative education model of the school not only taught professional knowledge but also critical thinking, courage to face challenges, and perseverance to push forward. He hoped that the students would always maintain their passion for learning, pursue excellence in their beloved fields, use their bilingual and bicultural advantages to be bridges for cultural communication, and serve society with cross-cultural understanding while steadfastly holding onto their ideals.
