On March 29th, International Cooperation Office of Tianjin Chengjian University organized an online symposium to communicate on CommTECH Nusantara 2022, which is an on-line short-term exchange program held by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) of Indonesia. Executive Director of International Cooperation Office, faculties and students from School of Architecture, School of Energy and Safety Engineering, School of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Economics and Management, School of Control and Mechanical Engineering and School of Foreign Languages participated in the symposium.
CommTECH Nusantara 2022 is a program designed to provide faculties and students from universities across Asia with the opportunity to explore and learn about Indonesia through presentations on traditional Indonesian music, dance, craft and other knowledge on art and culture. 18 students from 6 schools of TCU participated in the 12-day program. Through online courses in relevant cultural areas, students have been able to engage in discussions and interactive activities in various forms with university students from other Asian countries, enhancing mutual understanding and friendship.

At the symposium, the Executive Director of International Cooperation Office introduced the internationalization development of TCU and listened to the feedback from the students. The students mentioned that they had not only improved their English but also broadened their international horizons through this program and hoped for more opportunities alike in the future to enrich their campus lives. In response, International Cooperation Office expressed that the university would better serve the faculties and students through exploring more quality online exchange programs and improving the cultivation quality for international talents.
