On behalf of the university, SHI Qingwei and BAI Haili, expressed thanks to the employers for their great support and concerns for the university’s employment work over the years, and listened to the employers' opinions and suggestions on talent training of the university. At the same time, they introduced the university's program features and disciplinary advantages in detail, and hoped that both sides could deepen industry-university-research cooperation, thus to achieve mutual-beneficial and win-win results.
During their visit at China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd., accompanied by LUO Shenghong, the General Manager and other representatives, SHI Qingwei and the delegation visited Honorary Museum of the group. Later on, two sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions on university-industry cooperation, industry-education integration, scientific and technological innovation and some other aspects. LUO Shenghong spoke highly of Professor WANG Hailiang and his team in their joint applications with the group, which had won many first prizes of provincial and ministerial level, and hoped more TCU research teams could join the cooperation in the future in the fields of bridge construction, new energy, water management, etc. LUO Shenghong also commended highly 157 TCU graduates of and hoped more dedicated students could make achievements at the group after graduation. SHI Qingwei spoke highly of the group’s culture in integrating the spirits of railway soldiers into its development and hoped both sides could enhance communications on the basis of the match between the university talents and the group’s development needs and could achieve mutual beneficial development.
During their visit at Tianjin University Research Institute of Architectural Design and Urban Planning Co., Ltd., accompanied by Chairman CHENG Wanhai, and General Manager YUAN Dachang, SHI Qingwei and the delegation visited the master studios, professor's studios and professional design rooms. The two sides then had an in-depth discussion on the internship training for students, the establishment of joint supervisor team and university studio. CHENG Wanhai said that the number of TCU graduates working at the company has reached 88, and many of them have become key staff of the company's technology or management teams, and he hoped that the two sides could carry out more extensive and in-depth cooperation and exchange in the future. SHI Qingwei mentioned that the university would give full play to the university's features and advantages, establish close connections with the company in architecture, urban planning and other relevant fields, focus on talent training, scientific research, joint guidance in graduation project, internship and employment, etc. and vigorously promote the integration of industry and education, and industry-university-research cooperation.
At Tianjin Fangbiao Century Architects and Consulting Engineers Co., Ltd., Chairman SU Chensheng, Director and Senior Architect XU Shujian, gave a detailed introduction to the development history and recruitment requirement of the company. The two sides had an in-depth discussion on talent co-cultivation, technology transfer, project cooperation and joint application, resource sharing and student internship. SHI Qingwei hoped that Fangbiao, as an outstanding alumni enterprise representative, would continue to pay attention to the development of the university and offer more suitable jobs for TCU graduates.
At Tianjin Haihe New Energy Group Co., Ltd, Chairman SI Xiaojun gave a detailed introduction to the history and development of the company. The two sides carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on practical teaching link, job vacancies and recruitment plan of the company. BAI Haili invited SI Xiaojun and other alumni to revisit their alma mater and inspire more students with their innovative and entrepreneurial experiences, thus to motivate more young students of TCU to work hard, give full play to their professional strengths and to make achievements in urban construction and other fields.
During the online conference with Jiangsu Sobute New Materials Co., Ltd, General Manager MAO Liangxi fully acknowledged the outstanding contributions of TCU in the company’s development and in talent cultivation, and hoped that both sides could further deepen industry-university-research cooperation, give full play to the advantages of both sides, establish closer partnership, build a systematic interaction mechanism, and make more achievements in scientific research, talent cultivation, innovation and entrepreneurship.
