The 23rd China Annual Conference & Expo for International Education(CACIE) was successfully held at the Beijing International Convention Center from February 16 to 18, 2023. CHEN Zhihua,Vice President of Tianjin Chengjian University(TCU), was invited to participate in the conference. On the afternoon of February 17th, CHEN Zhihua was invited to participate in the parallel forum of the annual meeting --China-Pakistan Seminaron"Internet +" International Education and Industry-Education Integration, together with leaders and experts from educational and industrial institutions of China and Pakistan to discuss about China-Pakistan"Internet +" international education and industry-education integration, and to explore on how to build a digitalized international education system and how to promote the construction ofthe Belt and Road through the integration of industry and education. CHEN Zhihua and other participants also participatedin the launching ceremony ofthe "China-Pakistan International Industrial-AcademicIntegration Alliance".
In the forum session of the seminar, CHEN Zhihua, as the moderator of the topic "China-Pakistan Educational Cooperation in the Context of the Internationalization of Digital Education", together with leaders and experts from the Embassy of Pakistan in China, Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology of Pakistan, Chengdu University and other relevant units, discussed the prospects of China-Pakistan international education cooperation in the context of digitalization, the inter-school collaborative innovation education mode, the talent support for the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and future development of overseas cooperation in running schools. They agreed that China and Pakistan will work together to promote close cooperation at all levels in the field of education, build a digital education exchange platform, promote the quality development of educational cooperation, and provide talent and intellectual support for the construction of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
It is of great significance for TCU to give full play to the disciplinary advantages and promote international cooperation and exchanges fully relying on the"China-Pakistan International Industrial-Academic Integration Alliance".TCU will further strengthen in-depth international cooperation and exchanges, build an internationalized faculty team with urban construction characteristics, comprehensively improve the level of internationalized school-running capabilities, enhance the ability to serve the industry-education integration, industrial cooperation and the development of Belt and Road countries.
CACIE is an annual international educational event approved by the State Council and organized by China Education Association for International Exchange with strong support of Chinese Ministry of Education. The conference, held annually since 2000, is the largest educational platform for cooperation and exchange in China and is one of the most influential comprehensive international educational events in Asia-Pacific region.With the theme of "Reshaping Education:Adaptation and Transformation", the conference has attracted more than 4,300 global education elites and representatives of government, enterprises and all walks of life to gather in Beijing to focus on the changes of global education development, give full play to thewisdomof global elite in the field of education, and look forward to the future of global education development.
